Stitch Fix #9 >>> December

Hi everyone! I'm excited to share my most recent Stitch Fix with you today. I'm still loving having a Stitch Fix box every month. I start watching for the mailman once my shipping notice comes. It really is just so fun getting a box filled with clothes that I didn't have to go and shop for myself.

(Not sure about what Stitch Fix is? You can read my post about it here.)

Kut from the Kloth Danny 5-Pocket Knit Pants

When I first pulled these out of the box, I wasn't overly excited. I mean, they were fine, but they looked like basic black pants. Once they were on, they fit perfectly. I'd suggested in my requests that some leggings and sweaters would be fun for this fix. In the notes on my order, my stylist Alexandra, said she thought I'd like these pants because they are slim and stretchy, but a bit more substancial than leggings. She was right. Kept this.

Pink Martini Felicity Mixed Stripe Long Sleeve Sweater

This was the only piece I pulled out and thought, "I would never wear this!" The pattern was just to bold that I wasn't feeling it. I tried it on anyway since that is my personal rule for these boxes. The fit was too big and baggy. Sent it back.

THML Watkins Dot Print V-Neck Cardigan

This was something that I really liked when I first saw it. I loved that it was neurtal, but with some polka dot playfulness mixed in. Once I tried it on, I went back and forth on whether on not I loved how it looked on me. It puckered slightly in the front and I decided that it would annoy me too much which would proably mean that I wouldn't wear it enough to get good use out of it. Sent it back. (Still regretting the send back a little bit.)

Hawthonre Anastasia Confetti Lines Wrap Scarf

This arrived during the perfect week of cold weather. It is so soft and I love the navy and purple color combo. I don't have many scarves and I hope this one will get a lot of use. Kept it.

Hawthorne Rowson Colorblock Stirped Sweater

I'm pretty sure I had something similiar to this from the Gap back in 1994!  This was okay and I really did like the pop of purple, but the fit was baggy (I know sweaters can be baggy, but I don't want to feel like I'm wearing something super poofy!) If I'd been keeping everything else (which let's me take a 25% discount off of everything), I would have kept this too because it was fine. But since I was sending other things back, this went back with them.

There you have it! Another month of Stitch Fix. I'm really happy with my new pants and scarf!
