Hello, Fall

Here in Phoenix, we do not get to see many fall leaves changing color, but that doesn't stop me from bringing some fall decor into our home. At least we do get to enjoy a break from the heat and have beautiful mornings and evenings where we can actaully sit outside without immediately breaking into a sweat. I love fall weather!

I decided to take a few photos of some of our fall decor and use it on a layout. I'm thinking it will be fun to look back on how we decorated and remember how our house looked in the fall as decorations change or get rearranged in the future.

The "fall" word was created with my Silhouette and my handwriting. I just drew the word "fall" on a white piece of paper, took a picture of it and then loaded the photo in the Silhouette program. I traced my handwriting and then cut it out. The Silhouette is amazing!

All of the layout supplies are from the new November Scrapbook Circle Harvest Moon and Traditions kits.  Have you seen the new kit?

I'm loving the rich and beautiful colors in this kit!

Hope you are enjoying some beautiful fall weather wherever you are. Happy Saturday to you.

Candy Thief

While going through older Halloween photos, I came across one that has always been a favorite and decided it was time to use it on a layout.

Here we have one-year-old Hannah stealing a sucker from three-year-old Max. Look at his face. Makes me laugh every time I see this!

Layout Supplies: Fancy Pants Oct. 31st line: Paper, Chipboard Banners, Buttons, Design Embellishments, Glitter Cuts and black alpha; Glitz Designs Teeny White Type Alpha, Cosmo Cricket Tiny Numbers.

Although another Halloween is almost here, fall weather has yet to arrive at my house, so I thought that I would bring a bit of fall indoors. Here's a look at some of my fall/Halloween decorations.

The great thing about most of this decor is that it can stay up for October and then November with a few minor changes. I'm lucky to get decorations set up, so I like to leave them up for a while. What about you? Do you like decorating for fall?

Tonight I'm heading out to the Glitter Academy Girls Night Out where my friends and I will be doing some crafting. They had projects available for purchase, but with so much craft stuff already in my house, I decided to come up with my own craft. I'm going to be putting together a Halloween banner tonight! Should be fun.

Hope you have a fantastic Friday!
