I've seen a few of my blogging friends share their favorite 10 layouts from the year and I thought I'd join in on the fun.
These are favorites for many different reasons. The main reason I love these layouts is the memory associated with the layout.
Wow, what an amazing year. I feel so grateful for everything that blesses my life. I also thankful for all of my blog readers! I love hearing from you and building friendships.
Happy New Year to you and your family!

Christmas Cards
One of my favorite things about Christmas is receiving cards from so many of our friends and family.
Last year I had the not so brilliant idea of hanging the Christmas cards with glue dots on a wall. They looked great, but when it came time to take them down, the glue dots took little dots of paint with them. We have had a bit of a polka dotted wall ever since.
This year I decided to add a few nail holes to the wall and tie ribbon to the nails.
The cards are clipped up, look great and will not be peeling paint off when we put them away.
Now I need to add another ribbon so that we can add all of the cards received over the past few days.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

December Daily: Days 13 - 18
This past week has been quite busy, but I have managed to fit in time to keep adding to my December Daily album.
On Day 13, I spent so time working at Starbucks thanks to their free wi-fi. I loved the cup holder from my peppermint hot chocolate, so it was added to the page.
This page had a pocket that I decided to fill my my kids' wishlists. None of them wanted to write their list on paper since they had already emailed Santa, but they did it anyway. I think that would love to do everything on the computer and never have to use a pencil and paper again.
On the 15th, we were lucky enough to have a friend give us second row seats to the Suns game. Such a fun night!
Here the journaling is partially hidden behind the small page with the 16. I love the look of mini pages because it lets a variety of patterned paper show and gives a nice layered effect.
Day 17 has a pocket page and it was the perfect place to tuck in the tickets from my kids' Christmas Choir performance. I love the Fancy Pants fuzzy transparency. It's from the same sheet that I used on the cover.
The transparency page flips over the reveal the rest of the photos.
I did a 5K run with my brother on the 18th. It was pretty warm out and we were able to job the route without needing to walk. I was pretty proud of ourselves.
This day was so full of memorable events, so I cut up a page protector with two 4 X 6 photo slots and used it to hold more photos from the day.
Only one week to go on the album. I'm really enjoy the process of focusing on everyday moments and taking a lot of pictures along the way.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful week.

Sledding and Running
Although Glitz doesn't typically do themed products lines, I think that there are still so many possibilities when wanting a Christmas or seasonal layout with their products.
For my first layout share today, I want to show a Christmas themed layout.
Last December my family did a 5K Reindeer Run. It was a bit of a challenge, but we finished! We are looking forward to doing it again this year.
I really like the big tags with the months of the year! Such a cool new Glitz product.
My next layout is all about winter and sledding. The blue colors in both the Love Nest and Hoopla lines were perfect for creating a frosty feeling on this layout.
I love using the Peek a Boo Transparencies. One thing I always try to do when I use these is to layer something on top of the transparency. The layering gives me a place to hide the adhesive.
Also, don't you love the look of the giant rhinestones? I figure one cannot have enough bling!

Christmas Gift Idea
It's been a while since I've made notebooks and I decided that it was time to make a few for my nieces and nephews for Christmas.
I love that they are personalized and I can be sure that they aren't going to get the same thing from someone else.I love getting use up pieces of my favorite paper on these little notebooks.
Each notebook is 6 x 6 inches.
Each album was mailed with a set of markers, twistables or other fun writing tools.
Hope the kids have fun with them.
My daughter saw me making these and she wanted to know when I was "ever going to make a notebook for her." She has seen me make several of these this year and she has yet to get one for herself. Maybe I need to make one for her stocking!

More December Daily Pages
The December Daily project is still going strong!
Here are my most recent pages.
The large tree is a rub on from the Fancy Pants Traditions line. I love how smoothly it went onto the page. It really looks like it is a printed part of the page!
On day 10, I used of mix of product from Elle's Studio, Crate Paper and Fancy Pants Traditions. The pictures weren't the best, but I decided to use them anyway. This album is more about recording the daily bits of life in December and just like life, each day isn't perfect.
On day 11, I worked on addressing our Christmas cards, so I decided to include one here. Last year was the first year that I didn't hand make all of our Christmas cards and I must say that I love the ease and time saving factor of these digital cards.
The kraft envelope made a nice mini page in the center of this layout for journaling plus more space for a photo on the back of the envelope.
For the photos on this page, I cut down a 12 x 12 page protector that was divided into 4 x 4 photo squares.. Perfect place to hold a bunch of photos.
Thanks for stopping by!
