I was super excited last Saturday when my first Stitch Fix box arrived! Have you tried out Stitch Fix yet? I saw a few blogger friends give them a try and decided to join in on the fun.
In case you don't know know, Stitch Fix is a service that mails you 4 clothing items plus an accessory once a month (or more often if you want.) The clothes they send you are determined by your style profile that you fill out online. You decide what you want to keep and then mail the rest back in a prepaid envelope.
This is perfect for me because I don't have time or interest in spending large amounts of time roaming the mall looking for new clothes.
What to take a look at what they sent me?
(Sorry about the terrible pictures! I took most at night with my cell phone. I'll be sure to use much better light next time!)
As soon as I opened the box, I saw this white sheer top with little triangle cutouts and knew I loved it. I just hoped it fit and luckily it did! It's shorter in the front and longer in the back. It is not something that I might have chosen for myself because of the long back, so I'm happy someone else chose it for me!
Next up was a really pretty teal silk blouse. It was sleeveless (I'd asked for no sleeveless - hope they follow that next time) and it was HUGE. So it was a no go and went back in the box.
Item #3 was a fitted orange dress. I loved how the top fit, but it was too short (I like knee length) and so it went back in the box.
Item #4 was a navy pencil skirt and I love it. It is nicely lined and has a fun zipper slit in the front of the skirt. I only have one other pencil skirt in a very different color and so I decided it would be a nice addition to my closet. I paired it for church with the white triangle cutout shirt and a short sleeved cardigan.
My accessory is the necklace you can see in the second picture. I liked it fine, but didn't think it was worth $48, so it went back in the box.
So a new shirt and skirt got to stay!
If you decide to keep all 5 items, you get to take 25% off the total price of the items. I was hoping I would love everything in my box and get to take advantage of the discount, but some of the items just didn't work for me. Can't wait to see what they send me next month!
If you are interested in trying our Stitch Fix too, you can use my friend referral link >>> Stitch Fix
Of course, I'm totally not doing this to try and talk friends into signing up! It's just something fun I'm doing and thought I'd share with you!

Grey has been one of my favorite colors lately and I'm loving all of the grey in this collection. It's a perfect compliment to the bright blues and pinks.

Project Life: March 24
Happy Wednesday to you! This week has been filled with packing, driving between our new house and current house and a few trips to IKEA. We have movers coming this Friday to move all of our furniture and remaining boxes and it will be great to have that job complete!
There isn't any scrapbooking going on this week because my room is all packed up and I'm waiting for the furniture to be moved to the new house so I can get the room all set up. I should be up and running again sometime next week!
For today, I just wanted to stop in and share one of my project life spread from last month. I mainly used Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm goods this week.
I used the South Mountain photos (left page at the bottom) on my last layout and then used the photos again here. I love that I can do a full page layout with photos and then include them again in this project.

Exploring South Mountain (Scrapbook Circle Sketch)
A couple of weeks ago Audrey went to a birthday party up on South Mountain in Phoenix. It was a really cool party location, but quite a bit of a drive from our house. The rest of our family went to dinner nearby and then had extra time before the party ended, so we spent some time walking around and exploring.
We had great city views from up on the mountain, but sadly the pictures didn't capture it. We were on the lookout for snakes and luckily didn't have any cross our path!
This is the perfect time to be living in Arizona and we are soaking up all of the outdoor time we can before the months of intense heat sets in. It was great to have some extra time and get in a little mountain exploring!
Today a new sketch by Diana Fisher debuted on the Scrapbook Circle blog and I used the sketch as a starting point for my layout.
You can create a layout with the sketch and be featured on the Scrapbook Circle blog in a couple of weeks. Details are here.
Hope you have a great weekend! We have the school fundraiser carnival and will hopefully be spending some time at the lake too.

Project Life: March 10 & 17
Hello! I have another couple of Project Life weeks to share today. I'm pretty sure this project is training me to take a lot more everyday pictures than I would without the project.
The first week I want to share is the week of March 10. It was our first week of spring break and we spent a lof of time relaxing around our house.
I do not plan out photos for the week, but always seem to have enough when I go to print for the week.

Celebrating Cousin Rose's 1st Birthday /// Paddle Boating during Spring Break
Day at the Phoenix Zoo /// Hiking in the Superstition Mountains /// Teaching Nursery @ Church /// Choosing Paint Colors for My New Office
The second week up for today is the week of March 17. I can't believe how quickly time is flying by and this project definitely helps me feel the quick passing of time.
This was our second full week of spring break. The girls and I stayed home all week while Ward and Max spend a weekend with Ward's dad up in Salt Lake City for the first round of the NCAA tournament. I loved being home, getting projects worked on and eating out a lot.
Green Food for St. Patrick's Day /// Riding in the Car /// Scout Day Camp /// Hannah Posing /// Flowers + Chocolate /// Exploring in the New House
Basketball Weekend in SLC /// Shaved Ice in Gilbert /// Trying on New Dresses @ Nordstrom Rack
There you have it! Another two weeks of Project Life complete! Enjoy your day.

Project Life: February 24 & March 3
As I reported on Instagram a couple of days ago, I am current on Project Life! Such a good feeling! I focused on catching up over the weekend and finished up 6 weeks. I'm still loving the combined Project Life and regular layout approach I'm taking to memory keeping. This album is the perfect place to put all of our everyday pictures and tell our everyday stories.
Another reason I love the project life approach is that it is the perfect place for me to use up layout scraps and paper samples that probably won't make their way onto a regular layout. I usually make a few layouts with my Scrapbook Circle kits and then use up the extra pieces on PL. That way I really don't have anything leftover.
I'm going to share a couple weeks of PL today so that I don't end up filling too many posts with this project.
First up is the week of February 24. I didn't have very many pictures for this week, but there was enough to fill up the pages.

Showing my Parents the New House /// New Beginnings Program at Church
Next up is the week of March 3. I had fun using up some American Crafts samples I received at CHA on this spread.
This was the first full week we owned our new home. Thankfully we didn't have to be out of our current house at any time. We are going to rent it and don't have renters yet, so no hurrying for us. We decided to replace the carpet on the main level of the house with wood that was already in some places on that floor. The project started this week and was supposed to last two weeks, but ended up lasting 4 weeks. I'm so grateful we weren't living in the house during all of that floor remodeling!
Custard with Friends /// Sorting and Packing Scrapbook Supplies /// Cute Notes from Hannah
Horseback Riding Lessons /// Home Screen on my Phone /// Goodbye Ugly Carpet
I'm excited to be keeping up with this project!

Shaved Ice & The Beach (Glitz Design)
This week on the Glitz blog we've been challenged to use Glitz stamps on our pages. They have both roller stamps (love these!) and fun rubber stamps too.
On my first layout, I used stamps from these two stamp sets plus the anchor roller stamp.
I have to admit that stamps are not usually the first thing I reach for when I create a layout, but I really loved using these stamps on my pages!
The date stamp from the Uncharted Waters set is one of my favorites. The dates go up to 2019, so I'm set for years of use!
I scattered a few of the anchor stamps on my page along with some mist. The roller stamps are not just for rolling multiple images onto a project, you can use the single image too.
Next up is a layout I made about our first visit to a really delicious shaved ice place we've recently discovered.
This layout features two different roller stamps plus a set of rubber stamps too.
I love all of the numbers plus the "day", "month" and "year" stamps in the Love You Madly stamp set. Those could be used on almost every layout!
The chevron stamp was a lot of fun to use on this page. I didn't quite trust my stamping skills to roll all of that ink right onto my page, so I rolled it onto another piece of paper, cut it out and then sewed the stamped images to my page.
It was a lot of fun getting out my ink and using these fun stamps!
