Tonight we took our kids to my parents house so they could get their bikes ready for a neighborhood 4th of July parade coming up this weekend. Their neighborhood has done a 4th of July parade for years and it's a fun family tradition.While at my parents, my 5 year old asked if I'd take off her training wheels. Of course, I would! We decided to have her ride through the grass and I held onto the bike for about 4 seconds before letting go and she was off. She was so happy and proud of herself.
