Hope your week is off to a good start. It's been a very productive Monday here. Got the kids off to school (always an accomplishment), did dishes, 2 loads of laundry, went for a run, did the past month's accounting for my husband's business, wrote a blog post for Design.org and now I'm going to head out to pick the kids off from school. Just a regular, busy day around here. :)
Just wanted to share a few things today. First, I saw this Book of Thanks idea on the eighteen25 blog.
Each year, the family takes a photo of everyone on Thanksgiving and the gives everyone a chance to write something they are thankful for. This is such a simple design that would be so easy to replicate. Perfect way to record the growth of family/friends from year to year.
Today on the Cards Create Blog they are sharing my fall receipt holder that I made with the Scrapbook Circle November Kit.
They contacted me last week and asked if they could share it. So fun! They have a challenge posted asking that you create a fall project. They will feature some of their favorites next week.
I just came across a site that sells large spools of bakers twine (I love that stuff!) The spools have 240 yards of twine, so I'll have to get creative with using it, but I think a spool or two should make it's way to my house soon. Would be perfect for wrapping Christmas gifts or treat bags.
Now I just need to decide which colors to choose. They also do wholesale orders, so I may have to buy some for a Scrapbook Circle kit or two.
Which color would you choose?
I would choose every single one, if my pocket book allowed me to! Congrats on the feature - definitely deserving :).
ReplyDeleteThe red and white for Christmas wrapping for sure! Looks like candy cane swirl... with some brown paper packages? Perfect.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE bakers twine... at Michaels right now (in the martha stewart baking section) they have a small 6 pack of red, brown, grey, green... ect) that is super cute and less than $10.
ReplyDeletePam, Thanks for the tip on the twine. I'll have to look at Michaels too.
